ISS Workshop

At the heart of the ISS is the Songwriter's Workshop. Here is an opportunity for anyone to present an original song to a group of serious songwriters and get helpful and experienced feedback.

There is a limit of one song per-writer. Bring an acoustic guitar, cassette tape (no Dolby n/r reduction is best) or CD. A piano is available for keyboard players. Please bring 25+ copies of the lyrics if possible.

Ensuing discussions regarding songs can range from passionate to hilarious, but we try to make instructive and, above all, constructive.

Since our vote counting is purely numeric, a workshop can have two (or more) winners. In fact, if eveyone voted for themselves, we could have over twenty winners, but that hasn't happened yet. The current record is four winners (September 2000).
