ISS @Borders Syosset

ISS Nights at the Bellmore Public Library (website: bellmorelibrary.org)

The ISS also hosts an ISS night at the Bellmore Memorial Library on a quarterly basis. From 7 p.m. to 9 (dates TBA at meetings). The evening has two parts. The first hour is a "writers in the round" event that features and ISS members or a group. The second hour is an "open to the public" writers critique session. Just like the ISS meetings, Members of the audience will be invited up to do a tune, either by playing a CD or performing live with a guitar. A piano also will be available. As with the ISS monthly workshops bring lyric sheets for the audience.
