11/4/2009 ISS member Dave Anthony has won Fourth place in the Guitar Player Magazine/Broadjam International Guitar Winter Contest for his origfinal piece, Agincourt-The Bullfight. Dave was also highlighted in the October issue of Guitar Player magazine.

10/26/2009 ISS Member Denise Romas’s song A Healing Angel has been featured in a beautiful video made by Soldiers Angels.org. The video, Soldiers Angels Day of the Deployed commemorates the Day of the Deployed, October 26.

10/5/2009 ISS Member Mark Hussey releases his first CD, Bull Stories from Cow Harbor. The CD has ten original songs, with performances from Suzanne Ernst, Andrew White and Albquerque Mark Piccione.

7/2/2009 ISS Director Sonny Speed announced his retirement as Director due to his imminent relocation to Saratoga Springs, New York. Sonny will be running the August workshop, so everyone who wants to thank him in person is encouraged to attend.
