9/21/2012 ISS Member Alex LoredoStone was selected to perform at the Freshman Showcase at Five Towns College at 8pm, Thursday, Septempber 27 in the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center.

Alex is a very talented young composer who writes and performs on the piano. His compositions are sophisticated, poetic, heady and hauntingly beautiful, cascading through keys and time signatures like a waterfall. Apparent influences might include Scriabin, Debussy and Satie.

8/22/2012 Profound thanks to Vinny Crici not only for hosting a lovely CD release party, but for covering 12 ISS songwriters on a very special CD, "Under the Covers".

Few songwriters have the honor of being recorded by a fellow artist, let alone a songwriter as gifted as Mr. Crici. This is truly a labor of love - to invest so much time, talent and effort into the work of another. We are officially humbled.
