Michael Wells writes thoughtful, reflective lyrics and adds smooth melodies and flowing harmony. This music is always easy on the ears, and is best when listened to with headphones. I believe that it should be up to the artist. If she is signed, she probably wants royalties. If he is not, he wants recognition, and wants as many people as possible to hear his stuff so that one day he will sell his music or simply become well known.
